Austin Cadd

Austin has several years of experience structuring, negotiating, and conducting due diligence on complex transactions across the renewable energy and oil & gas industries. Austin is responsible for helping to formulate and execute origination and development efforts to expand Lightshift’s pipeline in new markets.

Prior to Lightshift, Austin led energy marketing and commercial strategy for Apex Clean Energy’s new markets expansion, which span across seven states in the WECC region. Additionally, Austin supported securing off-take agreements in ERCOT & SPP for the Apex wind and solar development portfolio. Austin has a BBA in Energy Commerce from Texas Tech University, and a M.S. from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University.
